2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Plug-In Hybrid review about release date, specs, design and other in these article. The Mercedes Benz E-Class is now at its fourth generation and has sold greatly throughout the world. Its predecessors rocked the car market in 1953 and were the most prestigious cars. Today, Mercedes has faced competition from BMW and Audi. This has resulted to release of new models.
Besides the regular hybrid cars, Mercedes aims at producing a Mercedes-Benz E-Class Plug-In Hybrid 2017. This car model will follow the E-Class W213 which will be released in 2016. Mercedes aims to counter the popularity of the BMW 5-series which will also be a plug-in hybrid to be released sometime in 2016.
Mercedes has been known to duplicate the exterior design of their earlier car models. The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Plug-In Hybrid received a great facelift in 2013 but there is still much to do if the car is to beat the competition. With Robert Lesnik being the new head of exterior design, things are expected to change. The new C-Class and the S-Class models were strikingly similar in design and Mercedes enthusiasts criticized this. However, though the design will change a bit, there is no much change expected on the exterior design. The headlights, the taillights, the grille and the bumpers will not change in design but are expected to be a bit larger in the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Plug-In Hybrid.
The car will have an additional fuel cap which is not in other models. The fuel cap will be positioned on the car rear and will function to hold the charger socket. There will be slight aerodynamic changes on this model.
The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Plug-In Hybrid will have the best interior of all the Mercedes models. The car will be fitted with high-tech features. The car will have closely positioned wide screens to offer all the information a driver needs. Other interior features include battery charger, optimized and range driving modes, infotainment system and parking features among others. Wireless charging is expected too. The car will feature technological details which include Bluetooth, climate control, Wi-Fi, and map among others. The model comes with leather interiors.

Engine and Specs of 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Plug-In Hybrid
The new plugin hybrid model will have a number of engine options which will be a mix of engines from earlier C and S class models. It will be built on Modular Rear Wheel Architecture which means that the car will be about 220 lbs lighter than the previous models. The model may feature the highly expected inline six diesel and petrol engines to replace V6s and produce over 400 horsepower. The car battery will be larger than the 2015 model which means its weight will parallel the V8 model.
It is not clear whether the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Plug-In Hybrid model will have a twin turbocharged V6 electric motor engine as is the case with the S500 or will have a 4 cylinder turbocharged with an electric motor engine to mirror the C350. Whichever the engine the car bears, it is expected to have an all-electric 20 miles range with a fuel economy of about 80 mpg.
